Genoa, Italy and Florida, America: Riviera’s newest models the 53 Enclosed Flybridge, 4400 Series II Sport Yacht and 43 Open Flybridge impressed the European and American market when they made their international debut at the Genoa, Italy and Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA International Boat Shows.
The 52nd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and 51st Genoa International Boat Show are the largest and most esteemed boat shows for the Americas and Europe, and Riviera’s recent success with five sales at these two boat shows has highlighted that the American and European markets are just as excited about Riviera’s new models as the Australian market.
The latest innovative designs from Australia’s largest and most awarded luxury boat builder caused a sensation since their Australian releases.
The 53 Enclosed Flybridge, which was launched in May 2011 and has already received 17 orders, and the 43 Open Flybridge, which was launched in May 2010 has sold 34 boats to date, the 5800 Sport Yacht released in May 2009 has sold 22 boats and the 5000 Sport Yacht also released in May 2009 has sold 41 new boats proving the considerable and immediate acceptance of these new models.
Riviera Yachts USA Inc director Chris McCafferty said the new 53 Enclosed Flybridge and 4400 Series II Sport Yacht models with their fuel efficient pod drives had impressed the American market with strong interest and firm sales being achieved over the five day show.
“Riviera’s optimism continues and the universal acceptance of our new models since their launch is extremely encouraging. This is a truly remarkable achievement in the current market,” Mr McCafferty said.
Riviera’s director of sales and marketing for Europe, Africa and the Middle East David Taylor said this was Riviera’s 22nd year at the Genoa International Boat Show, which is not only the largest show in Europe but the largest show in the world.
“Dealers from Europe and The Middle East came to Genoa with key clients to see Riviera’s latest models,” Mr Taylor said.
“This year we were pleased to introduce Riviera’s newest dealer, Yachts Srl in Italy who made their debut at Italy’s longest running boat show.
“The European market has fallen in love with Riviera’s designs, which is testament to Riviera’s quality, hallmark styling and impeccable multi-award winning build quality.
