Riviera's silver lining at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
For Riviera every cloud has a silver lining after a day of torrential rain cleared minutes before a cocktail party held at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in honour of the world release of the dazzling new, silver hulled, 43 Open Flybridge.
Greeted by the I Love Riv team, over 300 guests raised their champagne glasses to toast Riviera’s latest addition to its award winning range of flybridges, offshore express and sport yachts.
Guest speaker Ian Reynolds inspired the crowd with stories of his ocean adventures aboard his own Riviera, a 56 Enclosed Flybridge model, including his circumnavigation of Australia at the age of 79.
Chief executive officer John Anderson said the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of party-goers.
“The rain cleared minutes before the cocktail party started and it turned out to be a beautiful, crisp, clear night,” Mr Anderson said.
“All 12 boats were open for our VIP guests who were treated to champagne and canap?s on Riviera’s floating display.
“Professional musicians created a jazzy, up-beat ambience as they played the bongo drums and saxophone with a new beat to some old standard songs.
“All in all it was a fantastic night with plenty of food and entertainment. The champagne flowed freely as we celebrated the successful launch of our new silver lady – the 43 Open Flybridge.”
