R Electronic announce OceanView’s extended warranty and Raymarine latest offer

Marine electronics and navigation guru, Errol Cain has supervised the installation of marine electronic systems into thousands of luxury cruisers in his 21 years experience. This issue Errol will discuss OceanView’s extended warranty and the latest offer from Raymarine.

R Electronics extends the warranty on Night-Vision cameras from one to three years

R Electronics, Australia’s exclusive distributor of world-class marine electronics welcomes OceanView’s new three-year warranty to its full line of Night-Vision Cameras.

OceanView’s Night-Vision cameras not only define images in low light situations, it also has a dual capacity to capture thermal images as well.  It has a range of up to one nautical mile and uses a low light .00015 Lux camera to provide a crisp picture in even the most difficult navigational conditions such as torrential rain, some fog, smoke, glaring sun, and total darkness.

The Night-Vision camera range can be fitted to any size boat and can be interchanged between vessels.

R Electronics managing director Errol Cain said OceanView’s Night Vision cameras were the most exciting electronic navigation to be released since the advent of infra-red imaging.

“OceanView’s newly extended warranty reflects the company’s confidence in its products and covers parts and labour for three years commencing when the camera-equipped boat is purchased by its first owner,” Errol said.

“OceanView’s new three-year warranty on its Night Vision cameras is testament to the products’ reliability, which will give boat owners peace of mind in the knowledge that they have purchased a high quality product backed by an industry-leading three year warranty.

“From our night time trials where we ran at speeds ranging from planing to cruising speed in varying degrees of darkness, the OceanView low-light camera literally turned night into day and allowed us to navigate with complete confidence,” Errol said.

R Electronics will have the OceanView Night Vision camera and a range of other marine electronics on display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show held from May 20-23.

R Electronics launches Raymarine trade offer

R Electronics is pleased to announce a special offer from Raymarine.  Receive up to $5,000 trade-in on your old marine electronics system when you purchase a new C Series Wide or E Series Wide system.

R Electronics managing director Errol Cain said the Raymarine trade-in promotion was a fantastic opportunity for R Electronics clients or customers who have just purchased or are about to purchase a pre-loved Riviera to upgrade to the latest in marine electronics.

“With many previous generation navigation suites aboard vessels between two and 15 years, now is the time to pick up the deal of the year in new electronics, as Raymarine is offering generous never before seen trading deals,” Errol said.

“This Raymarine trade-in offer is available to customers who wish to trade up to the new C or E Wide Series multi-function displays. The C and E Wide Series displays come in 9", 12" and a large 14" screen size.”

Errol said the C Wide Series now had provision for one video input for a camera or Foxtel to be displayed in screen.

C Wide also has the ability to join two displays together rather than just as stand alone displays and also takes all the latest peripherals like digital Radar, digital Sounder and AIS.

E Wide Series now has provision for four video input for cameras, Foxtel or other video input devices to be displayed in screen. E Wide is Hybrid touch, which means it can be a full touch screen display or traditional button layout with the touch screen locked. E Wide also takes all the latest peripherals like digital Radar, digital Sounder and AIS.

Both C and E Wide Series come with built in Navionics Gold map, however if you require tidal data, port images and 3D topographical data, you must plug in a Platinum chart.
