Our History and Milestones

The first boat to carry the now famous Riviera brand was the 38 Mk I flybridge cruiser in 1980. Within a year, the company moved to Queensland and, with a staff of just five people, built eight boats over the next 12 months.

In 1983, Riviera was on its way to becoming a global luxury boating icon, exporting its first boat to the USA and following that, two years later, with export to Europe.

The family of Riviera owners are on every boating waterway and in virtually every marina around Australia, and in many waterways right around the world − from North and South America to Europe, South Africa, the Middle East and throughout Asia. Together, they enjoy the benefits of owning a brand known worldwide for quality, innovation and safety.
